Co-ordinator of World YMCA International Training Institute and Programme and Development for Human Rights. Secretary-General for the South African Council of Churches (1997–1998). Founding member of Women’s Development Foundation, and President of the same (1998). Board member of the Malta Trust as well as the SABC.
