Jeffrey Kaplan


Ph.D., Professor, teaching at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Has published widely on the racist right, new religious movements, religious violence, millenarianism, Christian Identity, the pro-life rescue movement, and the emergence of religious pluralism in Finland.

Publications include: Radical Religion in America, The Encyclopedia of White Power: A Sourcebook on the Radical Right, The Euro-American Radical Right (co-authored with and Leonard Weinberg); articles in journals such as Terrorism Political Violence, Nova Religio, and Patterns of Prejudice. Serves on the editorial boards of Terrorism and Political Violence and Nova Religio (serving as book review editor in the latter publication), and is co-editor (with Bron Taylor) of the Encyclopedia of Religion and Nature.
